Hi! I'm a Charlotte-raised and Wilmington-based composer, producer, teacher, and performer. I have a BFA in Electric Bass Performance from Berklee College of Music and twenty years of instrumental experience. My first student came to me to learn how to play the bass in 2011, and I haven't stopped since! My number one passion is about teaching students of various skill levels and on various topics, including but not limited to bass, guitar, piano, production, and songwriting.
Feel free to shoot me a message and tell me a bit about your goals and what you would like to learn from your lessons!

Everything in my approach as a teacher is student-centered and is based on what I personally believe to be the six most important tenets of musicianship. These are technique, ear training, repertoire, reading, composition, and improvisation. All musicians have a certain acumen in each of these. My focus with each student is to evaluate their skill levels in each of these and strengthen the biggest sources of frustration for the student.
