Teaching and playing music is my passion and I want to help you realize your passion for music too!
I teach Beginner to Advanced guitar lessons, ages 5+. I have developed a teaching method that builds with strong fundamentals in technique, and music theory, while also emphasizing fun, pulling from a variety of various music sources.
I have studied under award winning and renowned guitarists Miroslav Tadic and Marc Teicholz. I hold a Masters degree in guitar performance from California Institute of the Arts. I have developed my teaching methods for over 10+ years of teaching and performing experience in classical, rock, metal, folk, celtic, jazz, pop, and more. I attained my Masters degree in guitar performance and composition from California Institute of the Arts, and my BA from CSU East Bay.

Classical Guitar lessons
Build a Strong foundation in right hand technique and music theory. Develop fundamentals for playing classical and traditional classical guitar repertoire as well as contemporary works, to make melodies and chords sing with ease.
Electric Guitar lessons
Build modern chord and lead playing for rock, metal, pop, jazz, blues, contemporary and more. Learn music theory as it relates guitar and your playing.
Composition/Songwriting lessons
I will help you develop and find your compositional voice and develop fundamental compositional skills to know how to direct your voice and writing style to express your music without being held up by technical limitations.
