Hello! I am an experienced piano teacher who loves helping students create and meet their musical goals. My background is in piano, composition, and music theory, so I'd also love to help you start creating your own music, prepare for university piano proficiencies, and get practice looking "under the hood" of your favorite music to figure out why it's so great!
My teaching is all about YOU! I help each student set their own goals and break them into achievable steps. Tell me why you want to learn piano or write music and we'll figure out how to make it happen together.

For my youngest piano students (ages 4-7), I use the WunderKeys curriculum. Older students will use either Faber Piano Adventures or Faber Accelerated Piano Adventures. Most students will also use KITS Music Theory.
Composition lessons will cover a wide variety of scores, focusing mainly on your own writing. I'll assign mostly public domain or widely available scores as supplements so you can see what great composers throughout history have done in your shoes!
