Hey there!
My name is Rie, and I'm a native Japanese speaker, born and raised in the heart of Tokyo. I've been tutoring Japanese for 5 years now and enjoy helping my students achieve their language goals. Whether you are just starting out or you are already deep into the language, I've got something for everyone.
As someone who loves learning new languages, I've learned languages like English and Mandarin myself. I understand the hurdles of picking up a new language, and I've got the tips and tricks to help you out. My mission is to make your journey with the Japanese language as fun and smooth as possible.
In my spare time, I enjoy Japanese calligraphy - there's something so calming about it.

Teaching Style

- Levels: All levels are welcome. Specialized and structured lesson materials are available for beginners. For advanced learners, I have engaging real-life materials to keep things interesting.
- Lesson Time: Choose between 1-hour lesson or a 30-minute option tailored for younger kids.
- Lessons are conducted in English.
Curriculum
- Platform: Lessons are conducted through Google Meet. All the lesson materials will be shared through Google Drive.
- Materials: Keep your wallet happy! No need for textbooks - I've got all the goods. You will receive lesson summary after each lesson, so you won't miss a thing.
