About

My coaching focuses on an efficient approach to practice, using natural and healthy techniques, and well-rounded repertoire balanced in a multitude of styles in classical, musical theater, jazz, pop, rock and contemporary music. In lessons we focus on building an energetic and productive technique of vocal tone, expressive musicianship, and an understanding of musical theory, sight-singing, ear training, and harmonic awareness.

I have been a voice instructor in the Boston area since 2008, as an Associate Professor of Voice at Boston College, and Private Vocal Instructor at Brookline Music School & Groton Hill Music School. In addition to teaching private voice lessons, I direct a summer musical theater workshop called Broadway Spotlight, and Broadway Stars: a musical theater class focusing on writing new productions at Groton Hill Music. I've also lead master classes and workshops in audition techniques, character creation, and acting for singers.
