Hello! I am a professional piano teacher with more than 15 years of experience. I graduated from the Conservatory of Parma (Italy), where I earned both a Master in Piano Performance (2016) and a Master in Chamber Music (2019). I studied under the guidance of great teachers (Francesco Bencivenga, Roberto Cappello, Giampaolo Nuti and Pierpaolo Maurizzi), also having the chance to take several Masterclasses with various international pianists such as Filippo Gamba, Roberto Cominati, Benedetto Lupo, Andrea Lucchesini, Filippo Faes, Rasa Biveiniene Yakutite, Clara Kormendi, Alexander Meinel, Hamsa Al-Wadi Juris, Andrea Bambace, Hui Ying Tawaststjerna, Eero Heinonen, Paavo Pohjola, Kristin Merscher, and Anders Kilström, and Trio di Parma, among others.
In 2017, I had the opportunity to study at the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (Finland), where I’m currently residing. Besides performing in several theaters and events, in my professional career I have been working as piano accompanist and teacher for many public and private institutions, both in Italy and Finland, which has given me a vast experience with students of different ages and levels.
Learning the piano is like going on a journey. It takes time, effort, motivation (of course), and sometimes it might feel challenging. But, as someone with a lot of experience, I can assure you it’s always worth it. Being able to play and express yourself with an instrument is a beautiful and extremely rewarding feeling. Everyone has different goals and aspirations and as a teacher I always aim to guide my students to reach their own personal targets, discover new perspectives, learn strategies to overcome technical difficulties and grow as musicians. I also offer ABRSM training for students getting ready for the exams.
