About
Ronald has achieved several awards in the music field. He was one of the winners of the Red River Radio Young Artists competition in 2015. He also has been selected to perform three years consecutive at the McCutcheon’s Honors Recital. He performed under Keyboard category in 2016-2018. In addition, He is one of the winners of the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra Concerto/Aria competition in 2017 performing Gershwin Concerto in F for piano and orchestra. Ronald also had made important appearances in the New Orleans Jazz scene playing with important figures as Delfeayo Marsalis and performing regularly in different venues of the city with different groups including Hector Gallardo´s Latin Jazz Band, among others.
His teaching style is based on the level and experience of each student. He´s very flexible to study with, treating music as a language in a very fun and practical way. He focuses on the student´s goals. His style includes working on all musical elements and topics towards the progress of the student and the achievement of their goals.
