I began my music teaching journey back in 2012 after attending the University of Colorado Denver. I was pursuing a music degree and at the time I believed touring would be my main source of income. After I had my first guitar student my life path suddenly changed and I realized my passion for teaching. Music has had such a huge impact on my life and being able to teach that gift other people has been nothing short of a blessing. My goal is always to accommodate my students wants and needs. I don't teach for myself, I do it for my students. Your enjoyment is first on my list of priorities. Everything else falls into place after that. I work with all ages and skill levels.
My teaching style is focused on the specific needs of the student in correspondence to their current skill level. Whether it be focusing on improving technique or gaining a deeper knowledge of music theory, I make it a point to pinpoint areas of improvement and focus on them while still keeping fun central to the lessons.
