Sam Moffett
About
Hi, I’m Sam—a professional woodwind player, composer, and music educator focused on helping students become expressive, well-rounded musicians.
I specialize in saxophone and oboe, and also teach clarinet, flute, and bassoon. As a working multi-instrumentalist, I perform in a variety of settings including pit orchestras and jazz groups, and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching.
In addition to performance, I hold multiple degrees in composition and music theory, which allows me to connect technique, creativity, and understanding in a way that helps students grow more deeply and efficiently.
