About
I am a Music Education Major at The Ohio State University who has plans of fulfilling a professional career in Saxophone Performance. Although I am still early on in my career, I've had the opportunity to perform across the country with many high-achieving ensembles. At Ohio State, I am a member of a Nationally Recognized Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Studio, and Wind Ensemble. As a Music Educator, I strive to share my love and passion for Saxophone and Music Education.
Teaching Style
I strive to help everyone develop a passion for music. Music is a wonderful thing and I believe learning an instrument is a task that can be achievable among everyone. I'm here to help anyone achieve their dreams of playing saxophone, no matter their age or musical background.
Curriculum
Strengthening fundamental skills and understanding of the instrument is crucial. I would assess students skill level and go from there. Building a strong tone, clear sound, and other basic techniques will be the main focus point. From there, we will put those skills into context and learn a variety of fun saxophone repertoire.
