Samuel Lechasseur

Montreal based guitarist Samuel Lechasseur was introduced to music and guitar as a teenager. He then studied at Cégep d’Alma (Technique professionnelle de musique et chanson), at the University of Montreal (Interprétation Jazz) and he recently completed a Master Degree in Jazz Performance at McGill University.

He is an active guitarist on the Montreal jazz scene and he is also passionate about teaching guitar and music alongside his career as a musician and composer.

Samuel has played at the Festival Jazz&Blues de Saguenay, the JazzFest des jeunes du Québec. He also played in several jazz clubs in Montreal and in the province of Quebec with his trio, his quartet, his quintet or with other musician’s groups. He is currently working on different musical projects as a leader and accompanist.
