Hello, music enthusiasts! I'm Sherif Wilson, a dedicated music educator with a passion for fostering musical creativity and understanding. With a degree in Music from Minia University's College of Music Education in Egypt, I embarked on my journey as an educator in 2017.
Currently serving as the Head of the Music Department at Kayan International College in Egypt, I've had the privilege of teaching in various international schools. My expertise lies in working with lower elementary and middle school students, primarily in British and American curriculums.
In addition to my role at Kayan International College, I teach piano at Vocan Xtreem Music School, where I've had the opportunity to share my love for music with aspiring musicians of all ages.
Experience with Prodigies Curriculums: For over five years, I've also taught prodigies curriculums to preschool and primary school children aged 3 to 6 and beyond. This experience has allowed me to tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of young learners, fostering their musical development from an early age.
Concerts and Performance Opportunities: I've actively participated in numerous school concerts, where I've had the pleasure of guiding students as they sing and play different instruments together. These performances not only showcase the musical talents of our students but also instill a sense of collaboration and camaraderie within the school community.
I firmly believe that anyone can play their favorite songs with the right musical knowledge and a well-trained ear. My teaching approach revolves around making musical concepts visually accessible. Utilizing tools like graphics and interactive PowerPoint presentations, I ensure that my students not only hear but also see the intricacies of music.
