Hi, I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I have been teaching private lessons for the past 17 years. I have been teaching online lessons for the past 5 years. I also teach a college level beginning guitar class. I have taught hundreds of students over the years from all age groups and experience levels in many styles of music. I enjoy teaching rock, pop, jazz, blues, classical, folk and country music. I read music for guitar and bass as well as chord charts and lead sheets. I am confident that I have some knowledge to share with you and that I can help you to reach your goals.

I use a goal oriented approach to teaching. I focus on teaching you songs from styles of music that you like and how they are played on guitar and the music theory behind them. I teach how to play in different keys and how to apply them to a specific style of music.
