Hi everyone, welcome to my profile!
I'm a composer and producer based in Vienna. My main work includes composing for film and videogames, as well as ensembles. Also, I'm writing orchestral arrangements/mockups for clients, as well as writing and producing songs for Artists.
I have been using music software for 10+ years and learning music theory/ playing instruments for 15+ years.
My musical education began on recorder and guitar, until I finally decided as a teenager to give up my second great passion, judo, and dedicate myself entirely to music in the form of composition. I studied Composition & Music Theory at University of Music and Performing Arts und currently finishing Media Composition.
Through my work for Igudesman&Joo, Sofasession and most recently MG Sound I was able to gain valuable experience for my own work.
I respond individually to the wishes of the students - after an initial discussion, we work consistently towards the jointly set goal.
I have been teaching Cubase, Sibelius and Music Theory for over 6 years and had students raging from 15 to 65 years. The average amount of time a student was learning with me were 2-3 months: a period of time after which the student has reached his/her goal. A couple of times students came back to learn something new or expand their knowledge.
Regarding home studio, there are always doubts whether it might not be very expensive to purchase hardware and software. There I can reassure you: a home studio doesn't have to be expensive nowadays, you can get very decent results starting from only €100!
If there is a need for music theory, I will gladly help out: I have taught 3 students in aural training and music theory so far, who prepared with me for their entrance examination at the music university and passed it at first go! In addition to individual music lessons, I was active as a judo trainer for 6 years, so teaching children is no problem at all.
