I am a certified music teacher and experienced performer musician offering music lessons to children and adults with various levels of musical experience. Music has always been a part of my life, and I want to share that same passion with you while encouraging students to have a life-long love of learning. Throughout our practice, I'll prepare students for a bright future by creating an inclusive and welcoming safe space.
It is my ultimate goal to not only encourage you to become the best musician you can be, but provide a positive creative outlet for innovative thinking. With acquired skills and experiences of teaching music for over 30 years, I share a great understanding of how I can help students individually, paying attention to their specific learning style.
I earned my Master of Music in Music Education/Voice from West Chester University, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education/Voice from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM). I also continued graduate studies in Children’s Choirs and Handbells at Westminster Choir College, and am a certified Kindermusic Instructor. Professionally, I worked for over 30 years in several public and private schools, churches, and in the private sector.
