I am a qualified piano teacher. I graduated from Sumy state pedagogical university (Ukraine) in 1999 and I am a master of music. I have been teaching piano for many years.
I graduated from Moscow state linguistic university in 2010 and I am a bachelor of linguistics.
I got a TESOL certificate from Arizona State University in 2020.
For me, teaching means showing students that they can learn playing the piano, to give the direction in which to move, to show that learning can be an interesting process, to motivate and inspire my students. Per aspera ad astra! (Through the thorns to the stars!)
I have had students of a wide range of different ages and the majority of lessons have tended to be on an individual basis.
Learning to play the piano is a process that is based on various methods and techniques. Every day there are more and more of them, especially on the Internet, and students sincerely believe that they will find the perfect way to learn to play the piano in just a week.
Unfortunately, there are no miracles. In order for piano lessons to be truly productive, you need to spend time and effort on mastering this musical instrument.
I work with students of all ages and abilities from beginners to advanced.
I can help you to learn a piece of music or a favorite song . It depends on what you want.
When I met a new student I ask him or her (or parents of a child) what do you they want to learn and what is the final aim of the studying and after that I plan our lessons. We play pieces of music which a student likes or wants to play. We develop the technique by playing etudes and scales but if a student does not want to do it, he or she works out difficult pieces in pieces of music. If there is a song we learn how to play chords.
