About
Hi there! My name is Sydney and I am a recent Master of Music graduate of The Juilliard School, where I also completed my Bachelor of Music degree. I have performed in venues such as the New York Philharmonic (David Geffen Hall), Disney Music Hall, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Musco Center for the Arts, Denver Opera House, Aspen Opera House, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Most recently, I was honored to have been named a 2023 New York District winner of the of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
I have been teaching voice privately over the past six years. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming environment for my students to express themselves through their voices. It is my priority to teach a healthy classical voice technique as a basis for our lessons. My goal is to foster a judgement-free space for my students to freely express their individual vocal needs.
I feel passionate about teaching students of all ages, as I believe anyone can sing! In addition to voice lessons, I am also able to advise high school students looking to apply to music conservatories and the intricacies of that process.
