About

Hi! I am here to offer you personalized lessons in which I will didactically guide you to find the tools to unfold your vocal potential, so that you can sing the songs you like in a freer, joyful and healthier way.

The lessons are aimed at anyone of any level who has concerns, the curiosity to explore, recognize, understand and enjoy their own voice. Everybody is welcome: from professional singers to people looking for a hobby, musicians, actors, teachers, artists, researchers…

These are some of the benefits my students have experienced so far:

- greater respiratory performance

- expansion of the vocal register

- increased flexibility for phonation and diction

- vocal agility

- greater pleasure and comfort when singing and speaking

- boost mood.

The technical skills learned can be applied to any musical genre or style: from popular (pop, jazz, rock, musicals, soul, r&b, latin, etc) to classical (opera).

I am Teo from San Antonio de Areco, a town near Buenos Aires (Argentina), the city where I live at the moment. Singing has been my passion since I was a kid: in that stage of my life I put on my own musical shows at home, transforming my room into a theatre and gathering up my whole family to be my audience. In elementary school I loved to participate in the choir and I have thrilling memories of the musicals we mounted in high school, in which I mostly played main roles.

At the age of 17 I won the first prize in a Singing Competition organized by The English Speaking Union (England) in Argentina and that experience lit up the idea and gave me the confidence of becoming a professional singer and musician. Since then, I have had a musical project with friends in which we play live music for wedding cocktails and ceremonies and other private events. I have also been part of Argentinian folklore and jazz bands and had other musical jobs as vocal arranger and music producer. In the last two years I have been hired as a singer in an important Christmas musical show performed in prestigious theatres in Buenos Aires. At the same time I have been giving singing lessons (since 2015) and it is one of my favorite jobs: accompanying other people in their learning processes of their voice.

I trained in institutions and with private tutors, participated in International Voice seminars and also have a Functional Singing Instructor degree (Buenos Aires, 2022). I am currently finishing the Music Teacher Training (specialized in Singing) at an institution in Argentina and I am taking an International Training called “Keys of the Singing Voice” taught by Hilkea Knies (from Germany); she is a Certified Rabine Master Teacher and a world reference in the field of voice and the nervous system.

Feel free to contact me, I will be receptive for any questions you have 🙂

I work from the Rabine Method’s perspective. It is also called Functional Singing Training and it is well known for its holistic approach of voice technique teaching. It is based and founded on the ultimate scientific theories about the functioning of the voice and it combines vocal theory with sensomotoric learning. It nourishes from different sciences such as psycho-neuro-physiology, acoustics, biomechanics, anatomy, sportsology and also of Somatic Experiencing (body therapy), among others.

The proposal of the lessons is to go aboard into a learning process attending the questions and desires the student has. Short-term and long-term goals can be set.

I like to define the lessons as experiences in which the invitation is to be in an explorative and curious mood, in order that the student becomes a researcher of its own voice. So we build knowledge about how the voice works and how can the whole vocal function improve.

In an ordinary class, firstly the person gets in touch with itself through voice exercises (vocalization) and is invited to observe the momentary psychophysical state. As the vocal function is the result of other sub-functions such as posture, breathing and articulation, the idea is to perceive how they are behaving at the moment. Then, designed body exercises (movements) with specific influences may be suggested so as to explore, compare, understand and finally choose other ways of organizing the vocal instrument that may result more efficient and very possibly more interesting. It is in this way that the vocal “toolbox” expands. More possibilities and differentiations equals a more communicative and beautiful singing. ✨
