My name is Tommy Marolda and I am a Grammy Awarded songwriter-music producer. I love teaching anything that has to do with music. I am passionate about passing my musical knowledge on to those who desire to learn an instrument, singing, songwriting, and recording.
From beginners to advanced I am patient and respect the needs of all my students. I’m an instructor for all guitar styles, bass, piano, vocals, recording,music production, songwriting and more! Some of my famous students besides writing and performing original songs for the NHL team Las Vegas Golden Knights are: Cher, Imagine Dragons, Bon Jovi, and winners of The Voice, America’s Got Talent and major films: Rocky, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Staying Alive, Hallmark Channel and Lifetime Channel Movies, TV and Holiday shows.
I give one-on-one lessons to children from five years old to adults in their eighties. Each student is assessed to allow me to prepare lesson plans for them to achieve their goals and progress in a fun and productive way. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their goals, musical interests, and learning pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced musician looking to refine your skills, I focus on building a solid musical foundation while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. I believe students learn best by playing music they love, while gradually developing technique, creativity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of music.
Curriculum
I combine traditional musical fundamentals with real-world industry experience. My lessons are individualized and hands-on, blending technique, theory, ear training, songwriting, recording, and performance skills. I encourage creativity from the very first lesson, helping students develop not only as musicians but as confident artists. My goal is to inspire, motivate, and make learning music both rewarding and fun.

Bio
Tommy Marolda is a respected songwriter, musician, record producer, engineer and music publisher who has appeared on more than 50 albums either as an artist, producer or composer. He has been nominated for a Gammy Award and has worked on gold and platimun albums with artists such as Cher, Bee Gees, The Killers, Rod Stewart, Kurupt, DR. Dre and Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi.
Working in the music business for more than 30 years, Tommy and his two bands, THE TOMS and HORIZONTAL LADIES CLUB, continue to record and release alternative and independent music.
Besides writing and recording songs for all the major TV shows from Americas Next Top Model to the Theme Song for the CBS INSIDER show and Smallville, Marolda also has songs in many major films including “STAYIN’ ALIVE” starring John Travolta, “DAYS OF THUNDER” starring Tom Cruise, “ONCE IN THE LIFE” starring Lawrance Fishburn, “CARMEN” starring Beyonce Knowles, “O” starring Josh Hartman, “ROCKY BALBOA” starring Sylvester Stallone and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Songs from the HORIZONTAL LADIES CLUB latest album are featured in “The City” on MTV.
