About

I am a UC Irvine Graduate with a Drama/Musical Theater degree, with over 15 years of professional voice, songwriting, and piano experience in the music industry in Los Angeles. In addition to being trained for over 20 years, I have been teaching voice, piano, and songwriting for nearly ten years. I have been working as a music instructor at Guitar Center for the past three and a half years teaching these subjects, and am a passionate instructor who loves working with students of all ages to better their craft. I have background in Pop, Musical Theater, R&B, Rock, and Jazz genres for voice, songwriting, and piano. I'd love to work with you, or your child!

My approach in teaching is to meet a student where they are. I lead with empathy, and prefer to foster an environment first and foremost where students feel safe to challenge themselves, and take risks. If I see a degree of motivation in a student, I am happy to motivate them and push them to achieve the best version of themselves in their craft, but it is important to me to stress that every student is different, and has a different journey. No two students goals, or abilities are the same, so my approach varies based on the needs of a student.
