I can show you how to become an in-demand bassist or guitarist. From technique and writing parts to attitude and work ethic, I can take you from dimly lit bedroom to a bright stage. I can help you develop the skills you need to be in a band and succeed as a professional bassist. Before our first meeting, we will discuss your general skills and experience to create material for our first lesson. During our first lesson, we will assess and further discuss your abilities and find a path toward making you a better player. Many players have developed skills on their own through video lessons and online tablature. While these resources are essential in developing skills, they do not provide valuable feedback that can help you grow faster. Music is a fun skill to develop, but takes time and thoughtful practice. 

I am a casual but serious teacher! I want people to feel comfortable during our lessons, but I also expect you to be spending plenty of time on the material between sessions and come back to the next lesson with questions. Unless we have daily lessons, you will be expected to fill out a practice sheet showing that you spend on average 1hr a day or 7 hours a week playing.
