Starting at the young age of 12, Vandi studied music at Los Medanos in Antioch, California. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Shorter University with minors in piano and theatre. Vandi continued her education and earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance with an emphasis on pedagogy from the University of Akron.
Vandi has performed with various professional theater, musical theater, and opera companies. She has also worked with chamber music groups, orchestras, symphonies, big bands, jazz, and contemporary groups. As a music producer, songwriter, and composer, Vandi has released four albums and has performed in several films, including Just the Truth, which has won multiple awards and been featured in ten film festivals. Vandi is also an accomplished voiceover artist and has narrated over 50 audiobooks.
In addition to her performance career, Vandi is a published author of the books Sing Smart and Speak to Inspire. She loves teaching and has been helping students achieve their goals for many years.
