Professional Background
With over 30 years of professional performance and 25 years of teaching experience, my musical journey has spanned across Mexico, Canada, and Brazil. I am a multi-instrumentalist (Bass, Guitar, Piano, and Drums) and a composer currently preparing for an international performance contract with Disney. Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of teaching at prestigious institutions like the Universidad Iberoamericana and working with diverse ensembles from Jazz and Bossa Nova to Contemporary Pop.

My approach is rooted in the "Atelier" (Workshop) philosophy, where music is treated as a practical craft. I focus on "Artist Development". Whether we are working on Voice, Bass, or Songwriting, my method balances three core elements:

Creative Language: I emphasize Improvisation and Songwriting from the early stages. I help students find their unique "voice" by teaching them how to arrange their own ideas and understand the emotional architecture of a song.

The Digital Canvas: We integrate modern tools (DAWs) to record and analyze progress. For songwriters, this means learning how to create professional-sounding demos and arrangements.
