About
I have ten years of experience as a guitar teacher, seven of which I spent teaching at a music school in Berlin and am a performing singer/songwriter and guitarist and bassist in various bands.
In this time and during two years of studies in Berlin and contact course in Hamburg I have not only gained proficiency at my instrument, but also sharpened my skills at writing, arranging and recording songs, book and play shows and as a communicator of musical theory and knowledge.
Teaching Style

Curriculum
My lessons are directed towards you and your goals on the instrument: would you like to accompany yourself in singing your favourite songs? Form a rock band? Play classical guitar, sit in at a jam session or compose your own music? Any of these we will set out to achieve.
Despite your individual goals and ideas, I work with a system with the aim of a profound understanding of the instrument and music and the ability to use it independently. We will be working on the right technique, improving rhythm, and how to practice effectively and stay motivated. I am happy to explain music theory and notation so that you can apply them directly, which is why the lessons can also be combined with tuition in music at high school/ as a secondary course at uni.
As a songwriter, I am of course particularly interested in how to accompany your singing, how to write songs and how to compose parts for other instruments. You will also be able to work this, if you wish.

At age 12 began taking violin lessons at the Gütersloh music school.
At age 16 began taking guitar lessons at the Gütersloh music school.
