It is always a pleasure to see how my students grow technically and musically and develop a deeper interest in music. I believe that anyone can play violin starting with simple and short songs of 2-5 minutes long. This experience is rewarding for self-development and artistic growth.  Making new friends and sharing music is part of being a musician and playing a musical instrument. I enjoy creativity and imagination in playing music since every melody has its personality and character, it is like improvisational storytelling with different narratives. When teaching, it is very important to feel comfortable and to have a proper posture. I always make sure that my students play freely without any tension. This is a quite interesting and complex topic, so in a few words, before starting playing the instrument it is essential to know how your body and muscles work.  Alexander technique method helped me realize the importance of a proper approach to any instrument. Even small problems that seem irrelevant can lead and develop injuries. I can play with a shoulder rest and without it. It took a lot of time to understand how this works and I will be happy to share my experience with you.  Please check out my website theviolinlessons.com for more information.

I use a different approach in repertoire and technique which is individual for every student. I recognize student's needs and choose a suitable repertoire.  If I see that left or right-hand technique or a bow hold needs to be improved or changed, I do my best to help students and don't move forward till the problem is resolved. Although playing violin may not seem always like fun because of various challenges this instrument brings to us, I try to make lessons as more engaging as I can
