Wendy Smith

I am a teacher, musician, gospel songwriter, arranger, playwright, and author.   When I am not teaching or being creative I  am usually spending time with my family.  I enjoy the outdoors, a good cup of coffee, and fellowship with friends.  I am a Christian and love hymns and contemporary Christian music.  Thank you for considering me as your teacher.  

I have 20 plus years of teaching experience with part of that time as a middle school band director.  I started playing piano for church at age 12 and that was a long time ago!  I like to teach hymns and Contemporary Christian music in a way that is fun and easy.   I present the big picture and later fill in the details of how we got there.   In the first lesson you will be able to play God is so Good.  Are you ready?  Let's get started!
