As a performer, I believe that learning music should be a positive experience, to develop a musical sensibility,  I stimulate pupils to articulate which pieces or genres  they would like to learn, then tailor the classes to each individual to help them progress . I put a great emphasis on Technique and mastery of the instrument . I have taught music masterclasses, residencies in Conservatories, groups, and private lessons. I teach intermediate and advanced levels of music: Classical, Jazz, Songwriting, World Music and Fusion.  We will also use the human voice for emphasis on musicality for classical music and improvisation/composition.I also teach showmanship and musicality that I draw from my 15 years of performing experience.

In 2019 I created the first large violin competition in Tunisia, judged by myself and alma maters of the Yehudi Menuhin School and Guildhall school of Music in the UK. It was sponsored by the British Council and independent Tunisian businesses and created to encourage the Tunisian youth to pursue their passions in music. The winners not only got a monetary prize, but the first prize winner got the opportunity to perform with me on stage at the 'La Goulette Festival' in front of more than 500 spectators and receive a number of free lessons.

I created the ‘Yasmine Azaiez Academy’ in Tunisia, where I selected a group of talented students to enrich their technique and musical interpretations, inspired by my studies at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the New England Conservatory in 2016 .This project is extremely important in helping to inspire the young musicians to have ambition to become soloists and orchestra players not only in Tunisia, but overseas. I also hope to prepare them to participate in her future concerts, to represent the changes that can be made in music departments in Tunisia.  I have taught Tunisian violinists that have been accepted into the Yehudi Menuhin school and have participated in festivals overseas.

For all students, regardless of what they would like to study, I put a great emphasis on technique and 'tools' to better their way of expressing their ideas. Whether it be Bach, Lester Young, or Evan Parker, I kindly expect students to practise studies and exercises to be able to articulate their intentions for the music.

When teaching, I offer tools which help students conquer skills and habits in shorter amounts of time that I have learnt throughout my career. I implement milestones and goals each lesson, tailoring the program to the need of each individual.
