I have worked at Al-Mamoor School as a science high school teacher for 3 years as well as one year of math & science middle school. I have taught subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, AP psychology, algebra I and more. In addition, I was a tutor at Queens College for chemistry, psychology and more.
My teaching methods resemble The Facilitator style which is recognized as the activity or action method. This method of teaching encourages self-learning through peer-to-teacher learning. Teachers ask students to question rather than giving them the answer right away. The goal is for students to develop a deeper understanding of the topic by using self-discovery and develop problem-solving skills.
