About
Have you been playing bass for a while but feel stuck, inconsistent, or unsure what to work on next? Or are you starting from scratch and want a clear path instead of jumping from random videos to random exercises?
I have been teaching bass for more than 25 years and have worked with students at every level, from complete beginners to professional musicians. Many students stay with me for years, and they often mention that the lessons feel relaxed, practical, clear, and genuinely adapted to them.
I have also worked professionally as a bass player since 1997. I have toured and recorded with a wide range of artists and have extensive experience in concerts, studio sessions, and live performance.
If you’d like, we can use the first meeting to talk about your goals, see where you are now, and decide whether my teaching style feels right for you :)
Teaching Style
I teach exclusively online. My studio is set up specifically for remote lessons, with studio-quality audio, multiple cameras, and professional lighting, so you can see and hear everything clearly and the experience feels as close as possible to being in the same room.
We can work on groove, timing, technique, harmony, improvisation, reading, repertoire, tone, song preparation, understanding the fretboard, or simply creating a structured way to practice so you stop feeling stuck.
My goal is to make every lesson clear, practical, enjoyable, and directly connected to the music you actually want to play.
Curriculum
My lessons are fully personalized, but I always keep a clear structure. We start from what you want to improve, identify the areas that may be holding you back, and build practical exercises, songs, and musical examples around your goals.
I want students to understand why something works, not just repeat exercises mechanically. Depending on your level and goals, I may recommend songs, transcriptions, exercises, recordings, or other materials to work on between lessons.
There is no fixed method or required book. The material is chosen according to each student, their level, their musical taste, and what they want to achieve.
