About

I am an award-winning songwriter, composer, performer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and audio engineer. I combine a BFA in Musical Arts and an MFA in Performance & Composition from California Institute of the Arts with 28+ years of professional experience in the music industry and 15+ years of teaching experience. I have been signed to multiple record labels, including Sony Music, and write, produce, engineer, mixe and master a wide variety of styles, including Rock, Alternative, Indie, Pop, EDM, Country, Film & Trailer Scoring, Sound Design and more.

Teaching Style

I teach songwriting, mixing, mastering, music production in addition to voice lessons, guitar lessons, bass guitar lessons, piano lessons and drum lessons in most popular Western music styles including Rock, Pop, Metal, Electronic, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Punk, Country and more.

In my 15+ years of teaching experience, I have found that each and every student learns differently. That's why I adapt my teaching style/pedagogy to each and every student in real time so as to provide the most optimized learning experience for them. 

I have vast experience teaching all ages and skill levels.
