Alok Singh

I am a professional guitar instructor with over 6 years of teaching experience, specializing in acoustic guitar, electric guitar, music theory, improvisation, fingerstyle, rhythm training, and lead guitar.

My teaching journey began with Tenex School of Music in Delhi (2019–2020), followed by teaching at Rock For Sure (2020–2021), WhiteHat Jr. (2021), Furtados School of Music (2021–2024), Lucy Learning (2024–2025), TalentGum (November 2024–January 2026), and currently Artium Academy (January 2026–Present). Throughout my career, I have taught students of different ages and skill levels through both online and offline classes.

I hold Rockschool Electric Guitar certifications up to Grade 8, and I enjoy helping students build strong technical skills while developing creativity and musical confidence. Whether a student is learning for enjoyment, preparing for graded examinations, or aiming to perform confidently, I tailor every lesson to their individual goals.

My teaching style is structured, patient, and goal-oriented. Every lesson is customized according to the student's age, experience, and musical interests. I focus on developing proper technique, rhythm, timing, ear training, music theory, and practical musicianship through a combination of exercises and song-based learning.

Beginners learn chords, rhythm patterns, strumming, and essential techniques, while intermediate and advanced students explore scales, improvisation, fingerstyle, soloing, arpeggios, and expressive playing.

I also prepare students for Rockschool and Trinity College London examinations, helping them build both technical proficiency and musical confidence.
