Ashlynn Mularchyk

Ashlynn Mularchyk is a flutist from Georgia and a recent graduate of the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University, where she studied with Dr. Andrée Martin. In Fall 2026, she will begin pursuing a Master of Music in Flute Performance at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she will study with Dr. Jonathan Keeble.

Ashlynn has performed at the National Flute Convention, the Mid-South Flute Festival, the Kentucky Flute Festival, the Oklahoma Flute Festival, the American Bandmasters Association Convention, and the Georgia Music Educators Association Conference. She was a finalist in the Schwob Concerto Competition and received Honorable Mention and Alternate recognition in the Georgia MTNA Young Artist Woodwind Competition. She has also recently appeared as a performer on the Mid-South Flute Society Intercollegiate Honors Recital.

Dedicated to both solo and ensemble performance, Ashlynn has participated in masterclasses with internationally recognized artists and has performed with a variety of orchestral, chamber, and contemporary ensembles. She is passionate about sharing music through performance, education, and community engagement and looks forward to continuing her artistic development as a graduate student.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes individualized instruction, clear communication, and purposeful practice. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to meet each student’s needs while fostering curiosity, independence, and musical excellence. My goal is to help students become not only skilled musicians but also confident, lifelong learners.
