About
Hello, I am a native Spanish teacher with a strong international career in language teaching.
In the academic field, I completed my university studies at the University of La Laguna, located in Tenerife, Spain, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Philology between 2002 and 2006, where I obtained a Mention of Honor for excellence in my Final Project.
With respect to my teaching experience, I worked in London, England, from 2010 to 2013, teaching conversational Spanish to adults and professionals at a language centre in London. Later, I brought my passion for teaching to Asia, where I taught Spanish in Hokkaido; in 2018, I lectured at the Sapporo Cultural Center, adapting lessons for Japanese students with a dynamic and interactive approach.
In 2024, I relocated to Tokyo, where I continue to teach Spanish through private lessons, covering everything from everyday conversation to grammar and reading skills for learners of all ages.
I also have a wide range of experience in customer service in multicultural environments, which helps me easily connect with students from all over the world. Thank you very much.
Teaching Style
I have 20 years of experience combining language teaching with musical education. I have successfully helped students of all ages improve their Spanish fluency through creative, rhythm-based methods. My biggest achievement is making grammar intuitive and pronunciation natural for my students.
Curriculum
My method uses music as an immersive tool to master Spanish naturally. We analyze song lyrics from Latin America and Spain to learn authentic vocabulary and grammar in context. We practice active listening to sharpen your ear, shadow-singing to perfect your pronunciation and accent, and conversational debates about the cultural meaning behind the music. No traditional, boring drills—just rhythmic and memorable learning.
