Craig Moore

With more than 50 years of experience teaching and performing music, I help students build real ukulele skills, play the songs they love, and become more confident musicians. I’m Craig, a professional ukulele teacher, performer, and Berklee alumnus who has been teaching and playing music since 1976. I’m also the former owner of Aloha Music Studio in Chiang Mai, where I taught students of all ages and skill levels.

I offer personalized online ukulele lessons for beginners of all ages, Children 5 and up, one Parent with one child 3 years and up, couples,  Senior Citizen individuals or groups, experienced ukulele players, School Music Teachers and experienced musicians. Whether you want to accompany your singing, improve your technique, learn fingerstyle, strums, learn to read TABlature for ukulele or simply enjoy playing more confidently, you’ll receive clear guidance and practical instruction tailored to your goals.

My teaching style is friendly, encouraging, practical, and focused on steady progress. Because every student is different, I tailor each lesson to your musical interests, experience, goals, and available practice time.

I believe learning music should be both enjoyable and rewarding. I explain concepts clearly, demonstrate techniques step by step, and help you understand not only what you are playing, but also why it works.
