About

I am a professional composer, music producer and sound designer with a Master's degree in Composition from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and seven years of teaching experience.

My work includes original music and sound for film and other audiovisual projects, alongside years of working with students in composition, music theory and creative music-making. My main tools are Ableton Live and Sibelius.

I teach music production, composition, music theory, arranging and notation, from fundamental concepts to advanced creative and technical workflows. I can also help with film scoring, sound design, audio editing and developing a personal approach to writing and producing music.

Whether you are starting your first track, struggling to finish your music, want to understand the theory behind what you are hearing, or already have experience and need a second pair of professional ears, lessons can be shaped around your own projects and goals.

Teaching Style

My lessons are practical, flexible and centered around the student's own musical goals.

Whenever possible, we work directly with real music: your Ableton project, composition, score, arrangement or a specific problem you want to solve. Theory is introduced when it helps explain something musically useful rather than as an isolated academic exercise.

I adapt the lesson to the student's level and interests. Beginners can build a strong foundation step by step, while more experienced students can focus on specific areas such as composition, production, arrangement, harmony, workflow, sound design or notation.

I also encourage questions outside the original lesson plan. If something interesting comes up while working on a track, we can follow it. The goal is not simply to teach software or rules, but to help you become more independent and confident in making music.

Curriculum

Lessons are primarily project-based and tailored to the individual student. Depending on the subject, I use practical exercises, listening and analysis, Ableton Live sessions, scores, MIDI, notation and the student's own music.

I provide exercises or materials when useful; no specific textbook is required.
