About

Hi, my name is Dani. I use songwriting as a tool for self-regulation, emotional processing, and deep self-knowledge—and I am here to help you do the same.

I have been writing songs for 23 years (since I was 10 years old), and music has unconditionally been my safe place through crisis and challenging moments. For me, songwriting is a soothing, magical way to come back to my heart, to overcome and transform complex emotions, to clarify myself, sometimes simply vent, and to (re)create the meaning of my inner and outer experiences. Over the years, I have channeled this practice into my own independent music projects, live performances, and songwriting collaborations. (You can check some of my songs in my Youtube and Spotify under Dani Shanti Love, which is a new beginning for me as an artist).

I believe sound is like water: it carries many layers of information—thoughts, subtle emotions, and unique codes of your personal identity. The way you modulate sound and words reflects your inner capacity to express, create, and simply be yourself. My mission is to listen deeply and help you channel whatever is going through your mind, body, and heart into a melody, a lyric and hopefully a song.

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Literature (Licenciatura en Letras): Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) in Caracas, Venezuela (2010–2015). My five years of academic university studies provided me with a deep foundation in classical authors, linguistics, prosody, and narrative structure.

  • Songwriting Certification: Berklee College of Music via Coursera, facilitated by the renowned instructor Pat Pattison.

Professional & Artistic Projects

  • Solo Performances: Throughout 2026, I have performed as a singer-songwriter in Málaga, Spain, presenting my live concert series "Liberemos al Amor."

  • Album Co-Writer: Co-writer for the upcoming debut album Habitar by La Moon—an exciting new independent Colombian artist who will be making her official music debut with this release.

    Teaching Experience

  • Early Childhood Music Educator: Spent two years (2014–2016) teaching music stimulation and vocal expression for children aged 1 to 7 at Preescolar TEC (Taller Elemental de Creatividad) in Caracas, Venezuela.

  • Instrumental & Ensemble Instructor: Taught acoustic guitar, bass, and Venezuelan cuatro to teenagers (ages 15–16) at Colegio Mater Salvatoris in Caracas, guiding them through repertoire adaptation and stage performance.

  • Creator & Facilitator of "La Voz CREA": Developed and facilitated my proprietary teaching method in Málaga, Spain (2025–2026), using voice, sound, and speech as tools for self-knowledge, emotional regulation, and expressive clarity.

What to Expect in Our Sessions

This space is not about making "mistakes," chasing applause, or delivering a rigid performance. It is a space meant to be made entirely out of you. If you are open to knowing yourself deeper and connecting with your self-honesty, you are in the right place.

Do you need a background in music, writing, or singing? Absolutely not. Any prior knowledge is helpful, but completely unnecessary. I am here to guide you and provide the melodies, chord progressions, or instrument foundations (piano, guitar, or ukulele) whenever you need them.

Our Approach: These sessions are process-oriented rather than goal-oriented. By simply walking the journey, you are already connected to your destination—which is wonderfully open and unpredictable. When you let the creative process speak to you, it acts like a mirror that can be deeply transformative.

Whether you need an emotional outlet, a fresh form of inspiration to name feelings that have been hard to express, or a safe space of empathy through art, I welcome you.

Ready to begin? Book a trial session or drop me a message. It will be an honor to walk this journey with you.

Curriculum

Methodology and Focus: Songwriting for Emotional Release & Self-Regulation

Language: Sessions can be facilitated in English or Spanish.

Methodology: Unlike traditional songwriting courses that focus primarily on commercial output, industry formulas, or purely artistic performance, my methodology uses music as a process-oriented tool for emotional regulation, self-expression, and inner clarity.

We can use basic musical structures (chords, melodies, rhythms), reflective lyric writing and open ended questions to help you externalize complex feelings, process experiences, and reduce stress in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

For Adults & Teens (60 to 90 minute sessions): Our process begins with active listening and gentle, reflective questions to help you uncover the emotions, stories, or themes you want to express. We turn those inner narratives into lyrics and melody, using simple musical structures to facilitate personal insight and stress release.

For Children (30 to 45 minute sessions): For younger learners, sessions are shorter, highly interactive, and centered on fun and co-creation. We explore songwriting through storytelling, rhythm games, and spontaneous play—helping kids express their imagination and feelings naturally while building creative confidence.

Your Instruments & Setup:

  • Your Life & Experience: Your story, your emotions, and your lived journey are the primary instruments we use. We will invite these stories to come forward naturally during our time together.

  • Your Voice: This is our physical instrument of focus. You do not need any formal singing technique or vocal training. Singing is an ancestral human act—sometimes a simple 5-note scale is all it takes to unlock deep emotional release.

  • A Journal or Notebook: To capture thoughts, words, and lyric ideas as they surface.

  • Optional Instruments: If you play acoustic guitar, piano, or ukulele, feel free to bring it. If not, I will provide live chord progressions and harmonic backing so you can focus entirely on the process.
