I'm DenG, a music producer and audio engineer from Berlin's underground hip-hop scene, now based in Lisbon. Since 2019, I've built a 70+ beat catalog on BeatStars specializing in Yeat-style trap production, with type beats on my YouTube channel reaching over 17,000 views. I've also built and run an AI-driven automation system for producing and uploading content at scale, alongside hands-on experience in audio engineering, mixing, and mastering.
Teaching Style
I keep lessons flexible and built around you, not a fixed curriculum. Every producer gets stuck in different places, so we start by figuring out exactly what’s blocking your progress, whether that’s a specific sound you can’t nail, a mixing issue, or just not knowing where to go next in your workflow. From there, we work through it directly and practically, adjusting as we go based on what you’re actually struggling with.
Since I taught myself FL Studio through trial and error, I know how frustrating it is to be stuck without knowing why. My goal is to shortcut that struggle for you, focusing on your specific pain points rather than generic lessons you could find in a YouTube tutorial.
Curriculum
My teaching method is hands-on and session-based rather than following a fixed textbook or course structure. Each session starts with your project or your current sticking point, and we work through it live inside FL Studio, so you’re learning directly on your own material rather than a generic example. I adjust pacing and depth based on your existing skill level and the specific problem you bring in.
I don’t require any purchased texts. When useful, I’ll point you to specific FL Studio documentation, plugin manuals, or reference tracks relevant to what we’re working on, but the core learning happens through direct practice and troubleshooting together.
