I am a professional concert cellist with more then 27 years of experience as both performer and a teacher I hold music degrees from both European and American music institutions .
I am a prize winner in several International and National competitions.Throught my carrer I have tought students of all ages and levels from new beginners to advanced .
I have prepare students for orchestra auditions . college auditions and solo performances , focusing on technique , musicality , confidence and stage presence .
My lesson plans are individualized for each student's needs .The lesson plan focuses on a good posture , solid technique , musical expression, interpretation . It could alos involve some sight reading and ear taining .
I goal is to create an encouragibg enviorment where studnts feel enspired and confoident .
Teaching Style
I am a preofessional cellist with more then 27 years of experience as a perormer and a teacher . I hold music degrees from an European and American institutions including National concervatory in Sofia ( Bulgaria ) Indiana Univerity , Boston University and The Univerity of Central Arkansas .My most influencial teachers inclue Prof . Janos Starker and Porf. Felice Farrell
My teaching is informed by my professional experience as a cellist in many orchestras throughout the US and Europe. Awards include 2nd Prize at European National Competiton '" Sv. Obretenov " 3rd Prize at the International Competition " Usti na Orlitzi " and winner of the Beethoven all strings Club competiton in TN - USA .
I have been teachinng students of all ages and levels , from beginners to advanced cellists in pertigious Private schools , Yough orchstras and organizations .
Curriculum
I adopt each lesson to the student's goals pace and level in order to help them build their skills , confidence and appreciation and love for cello and music . I emphasize on a good posture solid technique, bautiful tone , musical expression , while making the lessons inspiring and enjoyable . I welcome all ages and levels from children as young as six to adult lerners .
I use Suzuki books , Books with scales and studes , Bach suites , Cello solo pieces , Concertos , etc .
Credentials & Affiliations
Bachelor of music performance and a Master of music performance from European and American Universities . Prize winner of several National and International competitons .. Extencive experience as a concert cellist with perfromances as a soloist , chamber musician and orchestras musican .Over 27 years of teaching expewrience in private and public schools , youth orchestras and cello enssambles .
