About
My name is Ernesto Cabrera, a Cuban tenor based in Miami with more than 15 years of professional stage experience. I graduated in 2011 as a tenor from the Teatro Lírico Nacional de Cuba, where I received my classical vocal training.
I have performed internationally in opera, classical music, salsa, Latin pop, classical crossover, and symphonic music, including performances with The Latin Divos and Los Adolescentes.
I am also the CEO and Founder of Vocentra Academy, where I share my experience and passion for music while helping singers of all levels develop their voices and reach their musical goals.
Teaching Style
My teaching approach combines classical vocal technique with professional stage experience. As a classically trained tenor, I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, level, and musical interests.
Students develop healthy vocal technique, breathing, tone, projection, diction, musicality, and performance skills, while building confidence in their voice.

Curriculum
My teaching method combines classical vocal technique with professional performance experience. I focus on breathing, vocal placement, tone, diction, projection, pitch, and musical expression, with lessons personalized to each student’s goals and level.
I create a positive and encouraging environment where students can build their voice and confidence. I also help prepare students for performances, auditions, recordings, or personal development.
