About
Hello, my name is Gayane Yenokyan. I was born in Armenia and studied flute for nine years at Yerevan Specialized Music School No. 13.
After graduating, I was admitted to the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, where I studied flute performance in the Performance Department. I completed my Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic results, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Conservatory.
Throughout my studies, I have participated in numerous competitions and received several honorable placements.
I have been working as a flutist in the Symphony Orchestra of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Yerevan for the past three years. I also have more than two years of experience working as a flute teacher.
Teaching Style
My lessons are based on practical knowledge, solving current challenges, and developing proper playing technique. During each lesson, we work according to the student’s individual needs, level, abilities, and goals.
I believe that every student is unique, so I adapt my teaching approach to help each person progress confidently, develop strong fundamentals, and enjoy playing the flute.
Curriculum
Since I started learning the flute at an early age and had the opportunity to study with different teachers, I have been exposed to a variety of techniques and teaching methods. This experience allows me to approach each student’s challenges from different perspectives and find effective ways to help them overcome difficulties.
To develop strong fundamental technique, I regularly use the Köhler etude books. For younger students, I also work with methods and exercises by Pop, Platonov, and other pedagogical materials, adapting the repertoire and exercises to each student’s age and level.
