About
Hello and welcome!
Music has been a central part of my life, and one of my greatest joys is sharing my passion for it with others. With 20 years of teaching and performing experience I teach electric bass and double bass, with a particular love for jazz, funk, rock and latin music.
I have performed and recorded with various Greek Jazz and Fusion musicians such as Tilemachos Mousas, Yiannis Kassetas, Crime Swing Investigation, Sassa Papalambrou, Savvina Yiannatou, Kate Koullia and international musicians such as Tuur Moens, Jan Kus, Blaz Remic, Tine Grgurevic etc
I earned my Bachelor and Master of Music in Jazz Double Bass Performance from Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) in 2009 and 2011, where I studied under renonwned bassists such as Hein van de Geyn, Marius Beets, Gary Willis among others.
Since 2005 I have been teaching privately Electric Bass and Double Bass to students of various levels.
Since 2014 I have been teaching in public elementary schools and high schools as a permanent music teacher.
Teaching Style
My teaching focuses on four key areas: technique, groove, harmony, and improvisation. Through a practical, personalized approach, we'll develop your technical skills, strengthen your rhythmic feel, deepen your harmonic understanding, and explore your creativity to help you find your own musical voice.
Curriculum
Both in Double Bass and electric bass i specialize in Jazz, funk, rock and Latin music styles. My teaching method is practical, personalized, and focused on learning by doing. I adapt each lesson to your level and goals, combining technique, groove, harmony, and improvisation through exercises, repertoire, and creative exploration. My aim is to help you develop confidence, musical independence, and your own personal sound.
