About
I am a classically trained tenor currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Classical Voice at the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music in Kyiv, Ukraine, where I previously earned my Professional Junior Bachelor's degree in Music. My professional qualification authorizes me to teach singing in art and music schools. I study under Prof. Mykola Koval, People's Artist of Ukraine, and Prof. Ihor Mokrenko, Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Alongside my academic studies, I have performed in concerts, festivals, and charity events across the Netherlands, including appearances at Theater Carré (Amsterdam), Theater Vaillant (The Hague), SS Rotterdam, and the Discover Ukraine Festival in Nijmegen.
I teach students of different ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to developing singers. My lessons focus on healthy vocal technique, breath support, musical expression, and building confidence through classical singing, introductory jazz vocals, and personalized instruction.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and personalized to each student's goals, experience, and learning style. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, adapting every lesson to the individual needs and musical interests of each student.
During lessons, we work on healthy vocal technique, breath support, resonance, intonation, musicality, diction, and stage confidence. I combine technical exercises with practical work on repertoire, helping students understand how vocal technique supports expressive performance.
I teach classical singing, introductory jazz vocals, contemporary repertoire, ear training, and basic music theory. My goal is to help every student develop a healthy, confident, and expressive voice in a positive and motivating learning environment.
Curriculum
Lessons begin with posture, breathing, and vocal warm-up exercises before moving on to technical work focused on healthy vocal production, breath support, resonance, intonation, flexibility, and vocal coordination.
Students then apply these techniques to carefully selected repertoire based on their goals, experience, and musical interests. Depending on the student, lessons may include classical songs and arias, national vocal repertoire, jazz standards, contemporary songs, and audition pieces. We also work on diction, musical interpretation, stage presence, microphone technique, and performance confidence.
I also incorporate ear training and basic music theory whenever appropriate, helping students not only sing more confidently but also become well-rounded musicians with a deeper understanding of the music they perform.
