Kellen Chalfant-Abreu

I have been a musician and artist for over thirty years, working across the artistic spectrum. I have toured with bands such as My November Guest, Kindred Fall, Nixon’s Ghost, and Dust Honey. As a creative arts director for various non-profits, artist collectives, and churches, I have shared my talents through performances and workshops at conferences across seven states and six countries, including Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Mexico, Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda.

I adapt to my students! I have tought as young as age four and as young at heart as age sixty-four! 

My goal no matter where you are at musically is to help you build a foundation based on a deep understanding of music theory to help you truly create a lasting relationship with your instrument and student driven selections to keep you and me entertained and learning from one another!
