I've been teaching violin and fiddle for over 15 years and specialize in helping adult learners develop the skills and confidence to play the music they love. Whether you're picking up the violin for the first time, returning after years away, or looking to transition from classical violin into fiddle, my lessons are tailored to your individual goals.

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Belmont University, where I studied with Elisabeth Small and Tammy Rogers King of The SteelDrivers. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, I've performed in a wide variety of settings—from recording sessions on Music Row to venues including the Grand Ole Opry and the Bluebird Cafe.

My teaching blends the technical foundation of classical violin with the creativity of traditional fiddle playing. I believe adults learn best when they understand not only what to practice, but why they're practicing it, and I strive to create lessons that are encouraging, practical, and enjoyable.

My lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and personalized to each student. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all curriculum, I meet you where you are and build a plan around your goals, interests, and learning style.

I place a strong emphasis on steady progress over perfection. You'll develop solid technique while also learning how to play by ear, improvise, understand music theory, and become a more independent musician. Questions are always welcome, and I aim to break down complex concepts into simple, approachable steps.
