About
Hi!
I am a professional pianist and piano teacher with a classical background and a growing specialization in jazz piano, improvisation, composition, and contemporary music.
I graduated in June 2026 from the Republican College of Music in Russia with a degree in Instrument Performance, specializing in piano. During my studies, I received extensive training in classical piano, music theory, musicianship, and performance, working with repertoire by composers including Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Beethoven, Chopin, Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, Hindemith, and Kapustin.
As a performing musician, I have performed as a soloist with orchestras approximately 10 times in different cities across Russia. I have also participated in and received prizes at several international and national competitions, including Music. Talent. Discovery in Moscow and an international piano competition dedicated to Igor Stravinsky in St. Petersburg. I am also a member of the Denis Matsuev Foundation’s New Names Program. Denis Matsuev is an internationally acclaimed Russian pianist and one of the most prominent performers of the contemporary classical music scene.
During my studies at the Republican College of Music, I also completed teaching practice, where I developed my practical teaching skills and gained experience working with piano students in an educational setting.
For the past two years (2024–2026), I have been teaching piano privately to students between the ages of 8 and 40. I have worked with students at different levels, from complete beginners to more experienced pianists, teaching classical piano, piano technique, music theory, musicianship, sight-reading, and repertoire. I adapt my lessons to each student’s goals and level rather than following one fixed method.
In September 2026, I will begin my Bachelor’s studies in Jazz Piano at Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands. My own musical development has expanded into contemporary jazz, R&B, improvisation, composition, and music production, and I regularly compose and arrange my own music in these styles.
As a performing and creative musician, I combine my classical training with my work in jazz, improvisation, composition, and music production. I use Logic Pro for recording and arranging and can also help students who want to learn how to create their own music, develop arrangements, record piano, or explore contemporary production alongside playing.
My goal is to help students not only become better pianists, but also understand how music works, become more confident musicians, and develop their own musical voice.
Teaching Style
My teaching method combines a strong technical foundation with creativity and a genuine understanding of music. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, interests, and goals rather than using the same approach with everyone. Whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced classical pianist, or interested in jazz and improvisation, I aim to make every lesson practical, engaging, and enjoyable.
For beginners, I focus on technique, rhythm, coordination, reading, and building confidence at the piano. With more advanced students, we can work on repertoire, harmony, improvisation, ear training, and developing a personal musical style. In jazz lessons, I emphasize understanding harmony, chord voicings, jazz standards, and improvisation rather than simply memorizing patterns.
I want my students to feel comfortable, motivated, and free to explore their own musical interests. My goal is to help them become independent musicians while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding. Depending on their interests, lessons can also include composition, arranging, recording, and Logic Pro.
Curriculum
My teaching is personalized, structured, and goal-oriented. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s age, experience, interests, and musical ambitions. Together we work on healthy piano technique, musical expression, rhythm, ear training, music theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and repertoire.
I teach classical piano, jazz piano, and improvisation. Whether you want to learn your favorite pieces, build a strong technical foundation, prepare for music school or conservatory auditions, or simply enjoy making music, I will create a learning plan that fits your goals.
Students only need a piano or keyboard, a notebook, and a willingness to practice between lessons. I provide learning materials whenever needed.
