About

I am a classically trained pianist and music educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, holding a Master's degree in Piano Performance from Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. I completed my studies at both conservatory and university level in the Czech Republic in 2023, where I built a strong foundation in classical repertoire, music theory, and performance practice.

Throughout my career I have taught students of all ages and levels — from young beginners discovering the piano for the first time, to teenagers preparing for exams and competitions, to adults returning to music after years away. I have performed in international competitions, ensemble settings, and on stage as a soloist.

Approach to Teaching:

I firmly believe that we make the most progress when we play the music we love. I therefore encourage each pupil to discover music that inspires and motivates them, while also developing the technical skills and musical understanding needed to play with confidence and expression.

I work closely with parents to support their children’s musical development at home, offering practical advice on how to practise effectively and how to make music a positive and enjoyable part of everyday life.

For pupils preparing for exams and auditions, I provide guidance on effective study methods, performance preparation and stress management, helping them approach these important moments with greater confidence and calm.

I also run masterclasses for advanced pianists who wish to refine their technique and deepen their interpretation, with a focus on developing both musical individuality and artistic expression.

What sets my teaching apart is my ability to combine musical rigour with kindness. I want every pupil to feel challenged and encouraged at the same time, so that their confidence grows naturally as their lessons progress.

Currently based in France, I bring a multicultural perspective to my teaching and offer lessons in both English and French, making me particularly well suited to international students and expat families.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is warm, encouraging and adaptive. I believe every student comes with their own musical dreams, learning pace and personality — and my job is to meet them exactly where they are.

I combine a solid classical foundation with creativity and genuine enjoyment, because I believe that technical discipline and fun are not opposites — they work best together. Students learn proper technique, music theory and sight reading, but always in a way that feels meaningful and motivating to them personally.

Progress happens when students feel confident, curious and supported. That is the environment I aim to create in every lesson.

Curriculum

My method is built on these pillars:

Piano practice - developing effective and enjoyable practice habits from the very beginning. Students learn how to practise independently, how to approach new pieces step by step, and how to make the most of their practice time so that progress feels clear and rewarding.

Rhythmic practice — developing a strong, natural sense of pulse and timing from the very first lesson, which forms the backbone of all musical progress.

Music theory — understanding what you are playing, not just how to play it. Theory is woven naturally into lessons rather than taught as a separate subject.

Musical culture — exploring the great composers, their stories, their styles and their repertoire. I want students to fall in love with classical music, not just learn notes on a page.

Lessons are structured and progressive, with clear goals at each stage.

I use several different methods, using the best of each of them to help you progress.

Repertoire selected individually, based on your goals.
