Nicolas Neveux

I studied at ATLA School of Contemporary Music in Paris for three years. After completing my studies, I started teaching private guitar lessons in 2015. I also worked as a guitar instructor at the music school within Cultura in Franconville, near Paris.

Over the years, I have taught around 200 students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to more advanced players.

Alongside teaching, I have performed with several bands. A Beatles tribute band where we were two guitars and a singer, we played Beatles songs with our own arrangements, it was between 2016 and 2019 and the band ''L'Heure Bleue'' where we were one guitarist (me), a bassist and a female singer, between 2021 and 2025, we were playing covers of all genres : Stevie Wonder, Suzanne Vega, Queen, Elton John, Cindy Lauper, The Cure and many more. But every song was our own arrangement, we didn't play the original version. With both bands I played mainly in bars, restaurants, and local venues. We played around our hometown Cormeilles-en-Parisis and in Paris. So I've played in various acoustic and electric ensembles alongside singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers, and violinists, exploring a wide variety of musical styles. I played solo concerts where I played alone with just my guitar fingerstyle songs or my arrangements of many famous songs. I have also organized open mic events where my students could perform live for the first time, giving them the opportunity to build confidence and experience the excitement of playing on stage.

Teaching is what I enjoy most about being a musician. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and finally play the music they love.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their goals, interests, and pace. Whether you want to learn your favorite songs, improve your technique, understand music theory, or prepare for live performances, I'll help you progress in a relaxed, supportive, and motivating environment.

I offer guitar lessons, mainly aimed at beginners, in a friendly environment adapted to each student’s pace. Whether you want to learn on acoustic or electric guitar, I adapt my lessons to your interests, your level, and the musical styles that inspire you.

My goal is to help you improve while enjoying the process of playing. We can work on the fundamentals (chords, rhythm, technique), learn your favorite songs, develop your musical ear, or explore different styles of music.

I can also include some music theory for students who want to better understand how music works, although this is entirely optional.
