About
> I will start from the 1st of September! <
I’ve been playing and learning music since I was 7 years old - music is essential to who I am. I started with classical piano, but after five years, I was looking for something more exciting and switched to jazz drums. My teacher opened my eyes to the freedom of music through jazz, allowing me to experience entirely new dimensions. Since then, practicing, composing, and playing with others have become central to my life.
I also began recording my own musical ideas. I bought a bass guitar and started teaching myself (later taking lessons to organize my theoretical knowledge). My songs now had rhythm and a solid low end, but I wanted to play melodies and improvise - so I returned to the piano, this time focusing on jazz.
Over the years, I’ve played across many genres and ensembles: symphonic and brass orchestras, a blues band, a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band, various jazz groups, rock'n'roll, hard rock, and a gospel choir. This allowed me to gain deep, hands-on experience across three instruments. Currently, I perform in a jazz duo, a jazz trio, and a funk-rock band playing our own songs, and I am working on a solo project where I play nearly all the instruments and handle the mixing.
My teaching journey began in 2020 when a friend asked if I could teach his son how to play drums. Since then, I’ve worked with many students and realized that sharing my passion recharges me just as much as it inspires them - making every lesson a truly rewarding experience for both of us!
Teaching Style
The most important thing in playing music is having joy, and sharing that joy with others - the audience, band members, or anyone listening to us while we practice.
In my lessons, I will guide you on the path toward truly enjoying music, while building your technical, theoretical skills. Beyond that, I can share my experience in related areas like songwriting, arranging, recording, and self-management or promotion.
I use personalized exercises and will send you my own custom backing tracks (for example, if you play drums, I’ll send you a bass and piano groove), because applying your new skills directly to real music is essential.
