About

Passionate music educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. I specialize in Clarinet, Saxophone, Music Theory, and beginner Piano lessons for students of all ages. I have prepared students for ABRSM and Trinity examinations and focus on building strong technique, musical confidence, and enjoyment in every lesson. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalized to help each student achieve their goals, whether they are beginners, hobbyists, or advanced musicians.

I graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music, specializing in Clarinet, from the University of the Arts (ISA) in Havana, Cuba. Since then, I have built over 15 years of international teaching experience, working with music schools, conservatories, universities, and private institutions in Cuba, Angola, and the United Arab Emirates. I have taught students of all ages and skill levels in prestigious institutions such as Music Conservatory in Cuba and The University of Arts in Luanda, Angola.

I currently teach at the Abu Dhabi International Music Institute, where I provide instruction in Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano, Drums, Music Theory, and ABRSM/Trinity exam preparation. Throughout my career, I have successfully prepared numerous students for ABRSM and Trinity examinations across different instruments and theory levels.

As a professional musician and educator, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, focusing on developing strong technique, musicality, and confidence through personalized lessons tailored to each student's goals.

Teaching Style

I have over 15 years of experience teaching music in schools, conservatories, universities, and private music academies. I specialize in Clarinet, Saxophone, Music Theory, and beginner Piano, working with students of all ages and skill levels.

Throughout my career, I have successfully prepared students for ABRSM and Trinity examinations, helped beginners build strong musical foundations, and guided advanced students in improving their performance and technique. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music and have taught in Cuba, Angola, and the United Arab Emirates, gaining valuable experience with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. My goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music in every student.

Curriculum

My teaching method is student-centered, structured, and goal-oriented. I adapt each lesson to the student's age, level, learning style, and musical interests while focusing on developing solid technique, music reading, rhythm, tone production, and confident performance.

For beginners, I recommend the Essential Elements and Abracadabra method books. For intermediate and advanced students, I use Rubank, Rose 32 Etudes, and Baermann Method for clarinet, along with appropriate repertoire based on each student's goals. For students preparing for ABRSM or Trinity examinations, I use the official syllabus, scales, sight-reading, and aural training materials to ensure thorough preparation.
