sahand farahani

I am a guitarist and singer with 20 years of guitar experience, specializing in beginner and intermediate acoustic and electric guitar. I am a self-taught musician who developed my skills through independent study, regular practice, and a variety of guitar instructional methods. My musical interests include hard rock and soft rock, and my playing experience also includes other styles. I enjoy helping students develop practical skills and understand the music they play.

I have performed with several local bands and was also a member of my university's music band. My musical experience includes live performances, rehearsals with other musicians, and recording songs. I have played acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. Played as a session guitar player between 2010-2018 for private studio and as a freelancer. Also played as guitarist in live stage covering pop/rock songs at the university of shamsipour at 2012 and as singer guitarist with band Laser at 2014 covering classic rock songs. Recorded Actual Gravity album Countdown as singer and songwriter at 2016 and currently working on personal solo projects as singer songwriter and guitar/bass player.

I have more than five years of experience teaching guitar privately, both online and in person. I have worked with beginner and intermediate students, tailoring lessons to their musical interests, current abilities, and goals. My lessons cover practical skills such as chords, rhythm, strumming, scales, music theory, improvisation, and learning songs. Ive been teaching acoustic/electric guitar to beginners actively from 2011 as a private instructor both in person and online in Canada and abroad countries like Iran and England. My aim is to help students build confidence, develop good practice habits, and enjoy learning guitar at their own pace.
